Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ntaska's website, mobile web application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Ntaska ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Description of services

Ntaska provides:

• Structured training programs for global digital work platforms
• Mock assessments and instructor-led qualification coaching
• A curated catalog of platforms accepting Nigerian workers
• A worker directory enabling client discovery of qualified workers
• Earnings tracking tools and payout account reference management

We do not provide employment, guarantee platform acceptance, or facilitate any payment between workers and third-party platforms. Workers are independent contractors of those platforms, not employees of Ntaska.

3. Accounts and registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each account must correspond to a single, real individual. Multiple accounts per person are not permitted. You must not allow others to access your account, and you must not access accounts belonging to others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are associated with prohibited activities.

4. Payment terms

Training program fees are charged in Nigerian Naira and processed via Paystack. All fees are displayed inclusive of applicable charges before checkout. Payment is required in full before program access is granted.

Refunds are available only on programs that explicitly carry a money-back guarantee, and only where the stated qualification conditions have been met (completed curriculum, assessment attempts used). Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the stated guarantee period expiring.

Ntaska never holds, handles, or transmits earnings paid to workers by third-party platforms. Payout account references stored on the Platform are informational only.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not use Ntaska to:

• Share, sell, rent, or broker access to third-party platform accounts
• Complete a third-party platform assessment on behalf of another person
• Impersonate another individual on any platform or service
• Store, transmit, or request third-party platform login credentials
• Circumvent a platform's geographic, identity, or anti-fraud controls
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party terms of service
• Engage in scraping, automated data collection, or reverse engineering
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or Platform staff

Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate account termination without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform — including training materials, assessment frameworks, platform guides, and software — is owned by Ntaska or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You may access and use Platform content solely for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with the services we provide. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

By submitting content to the Platform (including assessment responses, profile information, and earnings records), you grant Ntaska a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content to provide and improve our services.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We make no guarantee that completing a training program will result in passing a third-party platform assessment, obtaining work, or achieving any specific income level. Outcomes depend on individual effort, platform policies, and market conditions beyond our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ntaska and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Ntaska in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, then, if unresolved, through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (as amended).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
